1. Who you contract with

Cantlepost is a brand of BJP Stores LLC. When you place an order through the site, you are entering into a purchase agreement with BJP Stores LLC. We arrange fulfillment through our independent supplier network.

2. What Cantlepost is

Cantlepost is a curated marketplace. We don't warehouse the catalog ourselves — we curate it, write fit notes, and route each order to the independent supplier or wholesaler holding that exact item. The supplier ships from their own floor to your shipping address.

3. Acceptance of these terms

By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the bottom of this page tells you when the current version was set.

4. Your account

To place an order you need an account. You can create one through our signup page and sign in through login. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials to yourself, and for keeping your ship-to and billing details accurate enough for a package to find you.

5. Orders, pricing, and availability

Prices shown at checkout are the prices you'll pay. Because stock lives on individual suppliers' shelves, availability can shift between catalog view and checkout. If a supplier can't fulfill an item you've ordered, we'll let you know as soon as we hear — and we'll refund or help you pick a replacement.

We do our best to keep the catalog accurate (modular and synthetic lines that reflect where new-tack demand is moving), but reserve the right to correct pricing or description errors before your order is accepted.

6. Payment

Payment is handled by a PCI-compliant third-party processor. We don't see or store your raw card details.

7. Shipping

Each order ships from the supplier that holds the item. Delivery time, carrier, and cost depend on the supplier and your address. Specific timelines, tracking details, and shipping cost are confirmed at checkout — see our shipping policy for the broader picture.

8. Returns and trial

Saddles ship with a trial window — ride the saddle, and if it doesn't fit, send it back inside the window for a refund. Full terms, condition, and how to start a return live in our returns and trial policy.

9. Intellectual property

The Cantlepost name, the catalog copy, the fit guides, the illustrations, and the site design belong to BJP Stores LLC. The product lines, brand names, and product imagery belong to their respective makers and suppliers. We use them here under license — quoting them in the catalog doesn't transfer ownership to anyone visiting the site.

Don't scrape the catalog, republish our fit guides, or pass our copy off as your own. If you're a maker who'd like us to take down or update a listing, email us and we'll handle it.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The site and the catalog are provided "as is." We work hard to keep fit information accurate and to relay what each maker tells us, but we can't guarantee that any specific saddle will fit a specific horse. Fitting is a partnership — your own judgment and your trainer's judgment matter a great deal.

To the extent allowed by law, BJP Stores LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the site or the products sold through it. Our total liability for any particular order is capped at the amount you paid for that order.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Kansas.
